Growth and innovation inspire me. I felt there was an opportunity to build something the logistics industry needed – something that was both essential and special – so that is what we did. My goal as CEO is to garner new perspectives, increase productivity, and drive overall change. Integrity’s goal is to take third party logistics to the next level. Even as kid, I wanted to earn a decent living while working in a rewarding environment. I feel beyond lucky to provide that opportunity to all of our hardworking employees.
My past sales and logistics experience showed me that the industry was lacking accountability, so we built Integrity to remedy that. We pride ourselves on our ability to create honest and trustworthy relationships with our customers and carriers. As a CEO, my main focus is to continue to grow and nurture sales while leading by example. I am proud to have grown a three person family business into a 400+ employee company that offers all members of staff the chance to build their success while being a part of our close-knit team.
When I think about all of Integrity’s success, I instantly think of the hard work and dedication from our employees and vendors. It is both exciting and astounding to consider how far we have come since our start-up in 2007. My past experience as an Officer in the US Air Force left me with a passion for leadership. As CEO, I especially enjoy working with operations, technology, finance, our team members and I really enjoy problem solving. It’s hard to believe all of this started in my basement, but here we are. I am so enthusiastic about what our future holds.
With a background in banking and insurance, I came to IEL without much knowledge of the industry. Fortunately, I was able to draw on my sales experience to make the transition. Since beginning my career at IEL in 2010, I have served as a broker, claims and training manager, operations manager and now as the Director of Operations. My primary functions are organizational risk management, strategic planning and process improvement. Each day, my goal is to help our team members achieve their personal goals while providing outstanding customer and carrier service.
Simply put, my focus as Human Resources Manager is to develop and retain top talent while making Integrity Express Logistics an employer of choice. With close to fifteen years of human resource experience, I continue to be excited about enhancing employee relations, company culture, policies, talent development, and our benefits and compensation structure. I enjoy watching leaders flourish and believe our management teams work hard to build high performing, effective teams while staying true to our family-owned roots.
I’ve been extremely fortunate to work with some of the best marketing and design teams in the industry. My knowledge of marketing allows for me to create processes for our employees and external agencies to work together effectively. I am well-versed in both strategy and design and bring a well-developed skill set to the table as the Director of Marketing. Our hardworking and authentic employees understand our mission and brand vision which allows for our culture to thrive.
As Vice President of Sales, I believe it is my job to focus on training, coaching and development of the sales team. This means ensuring both the individual and the team are maximizing their natural abilities. A hard work ethic, focus and determination are second to none when it comes to working for a freight brokerage. I have always enjoyed working in sales and found my niche in the logistics industry. It has been amazing watching Integrity’s team grow and succeed.
One of my greatest achievements as Vice President of Sales is watching my team members succeed. I get excited about a motivated sales team who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and understands the opportunity at their fingertips. My own personal experience allows for me to lead by example – I have worked in the logistic industry for close to twenty years, and I know there are no shortcuts when it comes to earning a customer’s business and providing exceptional customer service.
I am motivated to develop long-term partnerships with our customers, and I believe that each day is an opportunity to exceed the expectations of our customers, carriers and vendors. As a Sales Manager, I believe in the value of communication, consistency and dependability. I work hard to build a team who reflects the same, and who shows the ability to be resilient, determined and forward-thinking. I enjoy the opportunity to lead and develop my team, and I believe they provide an unparalleled customer experience.
As a Sales Manager, I continuously aim to understand, coach and adapt. I prefer to work right alongside my employees to ensure they feel supported and encouraged day in and day out. My door is always open to discuss concerns, achievements, goals or development objectives. I was drawn to IEL’s family feel, and I work hard to cultivate this same environment among my team. My greatest triumph so far has been watching my team work together cohesively as we grow in size and profitability.
I have been with IEL for over seven years, first as an Account Executive, and now as a Sales Manager, and I’ve seen this company grow by leaps and bounds. I assisted in opening the Tampa location and knew it would be a successful venture. Even over the course of very rapid growth, IEL has been able to stick to their core values. I am so excited about our continued growth, both in Tampa and beyond, and look forward to developing our business into the future.
As the company continues to grow at a rapid pace, it is my job as Controller to ensure the accounting department adds value to Integrity through timely and accurate reporting. At the same time, I realize how important it is foster and maintain strong relationships with all of our customers, carriers, and vendors. My past experience in the corporate accounting world allowed for me to develop and fine tune the skills needed to lead a team who can do both. I also use those same skills to appropriately keep up with our daily functionality as well as our projected growth.
I began representing IEL as outside counsel when there were approximately 15 employees and have watched the company grow to 500 employees since that time. Having practiced law in the transportation industry for over 10 years, I am able to apply that concentrated knowledge to many different facets of IEL’s fabric each day. I am proud of my focus and expertise in this industry and work hard to keep our employees apprised of industry trends and regulatory changes.
